Why is there a charge for insurance on my interlibrary loan request

This isn't a charge for the ILL request. This field allows users to enter the amount of insurance the purchased for an item, if applicable. For example, if you purchased insurance for shipping (like from USPS), you would enter the amount there. If you're the borrowing the library, you will need to contact the lending library for more information about why they opted to enter that information into the request.
