How does IFM handle various currencies in different requests?

Applies to
  • Tipasa
  • WorldShare ILL
Answer

You can use US Dollars as well as your local currency (when applicable) in requests. It is possible to create separate constant data templates for different currencies as well. As long as you have specified that IFM is applicable for these requests, they will be converted to your local currency on the monthly IFM invoice - regardless of what currency they have been handled in in Tipasa or WorldShare ILL.

NOTE:  Within a request, the currency specified by the borrower and the lender always has to match.
