WorldShare Record Manager Release Notes, March 2023
Release Date: March 15, 2023
Introduction
This release of WorldShare Record Manager provides bug fixes to the following:
- Local Holdings Record (LHR) Text View Editor (also Copy/Items view editor in WorldShare Circulation and Acquisitions)
- My Labels
- LHR Change History (also Item Change History in WorldShare Circulation and Acquisitions)
Bug fixes
(WMS Groups only) Error message "The specified copy item cannot be found" when adding items using Local Holdings Record (LHR) Text View Editor (also Copy/Items view editor in WorldShare Circulation and Acquisitions)
When adding a new item using the Local Holdings Record (LHR) Text View Editor in Record Manager (and also Copy/Items view editor in Circulation and Acquisitions), an error message “The specified copy item cannot be found” appeared temporarily for some users in a WMS Group. A newly added item will no longer show this error.
Adding a label to the label print list multiple times from the LHR Text View Editor (also Copy/Items view editor in WorldShare Circulation and Acquisitions) did not update the label count for the given item correctly
In the LHR Text View Editor (also Copy/Items view editor in WorldShare Circulation and Acquisitions), if you added a label for the same item multiple times, the amount of labels in the print list would increase but the label count for the given item would not. The label count number for the given item will now match the number of labels in the print list.
Adding an unbarcoded item to a container in WorldShare Circulation results in a blank Source Application entry in the LHR/Item Change History table
When adding an unbarcoded item to a container in Circulation, there would be a missing Source Application entry for the corresponding item in the LHR/Item Change History table. Now, the Source Application field is correctly populated.
