Introduction

This release of WorldShare Record Manager provides one new enhancement in addition to three bug fixes.

  • Display of the temporary shelving locations in the Local Holdings Record (LHR) MARC 21 editor for 877 and 878 fields
  • Bug fixes:
    • FOLIO libraries only: Some user credential or API key configurations in FOLIO resulted in failed TCP/IP record exports from WorldShare Record Manager 
    • Dropdown in Enumeration/Chronology column on a Label Print List is limited to 10 selections 
    • Record Work Lists: Preview Record(s) after Edit Action Applied for LBD and LHR entries in a work list produces an error

New features and enhancements

Local Holdings Record (LHR) MARC 21 editor

For LHR 877 and 878 fields, you can now choose from a dropdown menu for subfield $I (Temporary Location)

When entering data into 877 or 878 fields in the LHR MARC 21 editor, you can now select from a dropdown menu for Temporary Location subfield $I.  Previously, you needed to type the Temporary Location data into the subfield $I.

Bug fixes

TCP/IP record export

FOLIO libraries only: Some user credential or API key configurations in FOLIO resulted in failed TCP/IP record exports from WorldShare Record Manager

Depending on how your FOLIO administrator specified your TCP/IP record export/import settings, WorldShare Record Manager may have either supplied a success message when the record did not successfully export or the TCP/IP export action would hang.  Now, the TCP/IP record exports to FOLIO correctly function.

My Labels

Dropdown in Enumeration/Chronology column on a Label Print List is limited to 10 selections

When selecting entries under the enumeration/chronology dropdown on a Label Print List, you could only select up to 10 entries at a time.  Now, you can add more than 10 for label printing.

Record Work Lists

Preview Record(s) after Edit Action Applied for LBD and LHR entries in a work list produces an error 

In an LBD or LHR record work list using a barcode match script, for a given list entry when selecting View --> Prev Record(s) after Edit Action Applied, an error window would appear.  Now you are able to see the preview successfully.
