How do I determine if my library is receiving Automatic Holdings Feeds?

Applies to

  • WorldShare Collection Manager

Answer

To see this at the Institution level:

  1. Go to WorldShare > Metadata > Collection Manager > Institution Settings> Knowledge Base Data > Data Sources
  2. Choose the Option for Selected data sources only (do not save).
  3. If you see providers listed here, your library has automatic holding feeds set up for the specific providers.
  4. The box next to the provider does not need to be checked.  You only need to confirm the provider appears.

To see this at the Collection level:

  1. Go to WorldShare > Metadata > Collection Manager
  2. Search for a Collection from the specific provider that is available by Automatic Holdings Feed
  3. Go to the collection and expand Holdings and MARC Records.
  4. Under Data Sources choose Selected data sources only (do not save)
  5. The provider will be listed here if this collection is set up for an Automatic Holding Feed
  6. The box next to the provider does not need to be checked.  You only need to confirm the provider appears.
