The technology behind Choreo Insights' visualizations has changed with this release. You and users at your library may notice the visualizations in Choreo look different than they did prior to the release on 28 March 2024. |
New features and enhancements
Querying by Dewey Decimal Classification
Choreo Insights now gives your library the ability to filter your Choreo Insight queries with Dewey Decimal Classification. This new filter is available to you as a toggle under the Subject Classifications query filter, allowing you to switch between LC and Dewey. The query filters clear every time you switch between classifications.
Granular Filtering
With this new feature, Choreo Insights gives you the ability to filter Dewey results down to specific Dewey sections and Dewey section ranges. This gives your library precise control over the scope of your queries. To query particular ranges, you will use the accordion button to open the particular Dewey section you would like to filter on. From here you can use the text boxes to set particular ranges to help scope your searches even further.
Visualization Exports
Choreo Insights now gives you and your library the ability to export the visualizations associated with your Choreo Insights query results. This feature is the direct result of your feedback. You can export any visualization produced by Choreo Insights by clicking on the three-bar menu located on the right hand side of the visualization. From here you can choose the file format that best suites your needs.
Bug fixes
- A previous issue surrounding the Overlap visualizations not returning the correct results has been fixed in this release. Overlap visualizations will now return only the list of overlapping titles and not all titles from the query.
