What is OCLC's lost in transit payment policy for ILL?
Applies to
- WorldShare Interlibrary Loan
- Tipasa
- ILLiad
Answer
OCLC does not enforce a lost in transit payment policy. Individual libraries are able to set their own policies for damaged and lost books. For guidelines on lending, it may be helpful to review the RUSA Interlibrary Loan Code for the United States. Section 4.9 describes the responsibilities of the requesting library.
