Simplified cataloging roles
Your library's subscription type determines which roles you will assign to view the simplified cataloging interface.
Caution: Please note that to use the simplified cataloging interface, one of the following roles should assigned to a user and should not be combined with any other roles.
Full Cataloging & Metadata subscription:
- Cataloging Basic
- Cataloging Simplified

Record Manager Fundamentals SLE subscription:
- Record Manager Fundamentals Basic
- Record Manager Fundamentals Simplified

CatExpress subscriptions only have access to the simplified cataloging interface in Record Manager. See the table below for a comparison of the CatExpress roles.
