Edit a LHR (Fundamentals)

Discover how to edit a local holdings record from the MARC 21 editor or Text view editor in WorldShare Record Manager Fundamentals.

Editar un LHR en el editor MARC 21

 Note: 

  • Aparecerá un mensaje de advertencia cuando un código de barras que esté añadiendo o editando en una LHR aparezca en otra u otras LHR. La comprobación de códigos de barras duplicados tiene en cuenta los códigos de barras de los campos 852, 876, 877, 878, 863, 864 y 865. Puede elegir añadir o guardar el código de barras en el editor MARC 21.
  • If the Check Duplicate Call Number user preference is enabled, a warning message will appear when a call number that you're adding to or editing in an LHR occurs in one or more other LHRs attached to separate bibliographic records. If the duplicate call number existis in an LHR under the same bibliographic record, there will be no warning. You can choose to save the call number anyway, or cancel and adjust it.
  1. From the LHRs accordion, click the Edit button ( Edit button ) for the local holdings record you want to move.
  2. Edit the appropriate fields and information using one of the following methods:
    • Edit the content within the text box.
    • Click the arrow beside the field to expand the guided entry panel. You can edit the form fields or select a value from a drop-down list in this panel, and then click Done.
  3. Click Save. A confirmation message will appear which states that the local holdings record has been saved.
  4. If the record was unable to be saved, an error message will appear. Correct any errors and repeat step 3.

Open field help for a local holdings record field

  1. En el acordeón LHRs, haga clic en el botón Editar ( Edit button ) del registro de existencias locales que desee editar.
  2. Right-click a variable or fixed field. The MARC field help opens in OCLC Local Holdings Formats and Standards.
  3. (Optional) Access the field help from the Edit drop-down menu by selecting MARC Field Help from the Field Help flyout menu.

Editar una LHR en el editor de la vista de texto

Puede acceder al editor Vista de texto al actualizar un registro de existencias locales desde un registro bibliográfico o desde el editor LHR.

 Note:

  • Aparecerá un mensaje de advertencia cuando un código de barras que esté añadiendo o editando en una LHR aparezca en otra u otras LHR. No se puede guardar un código de barras duplicado en el editor de la vista de texto.
  • If the Check Duplicate Call Number user preference is enabled, a warning message will appear when a call number that you're adding to or editing in an LHR occurs in one or more other LHRs attached to separate bibliographic records. If the duplicate call number existis in an LHR under the same bibliographic record, there will be no warning. You can choose to save the call number anyway, or cancel and adjust it.
  • Some data changes are not supported in the Text View editor, and must be updated in the MARC21 editor. When trying to make unsupported data changes, you will receive an error message stating that the record contains fields that are not supported.

Edit a LHR in the Text View editor from a bibliographic record

  1. From the MARC 21 editor:
    • Haga clic en Grabar y seleccione Abrir vista de texto en el menú desplegable LHR.
      O
    • Scroll down to the LHRs accordion, click View/Edit in Text View.
  2. (Optional) Use filters to search the copy results for the LHR you want to edit.
  3. Haga clic en Ver/Editar en la columna Acción para el LHR que desea editar.
  4. Click Edit Item.
  5. Edite los campos y la información correspondientes.
  6. Click Save Item. A confirmation message will appear that states that the local holdings record has been saved.
  7. If the record was unable to be saved, an error message will appear. Correct any errors and repeat step 5.
  8. (Opcional) Haga clic en Ver/Editar en MARC 21 para cambiar al editor de MARC 21. Si ha realizado alguna edición en el registro en el editor de la Vista de texto, debe guardarla o cancelarla antes de hacer clic en Ver/Editar en MARC 21.

Edit a LHR in the Text View editor from the LHR editor

  1. En el editor de LHR, haga clic en Record > Change Display to Text View.
  2. (Optional) Use filters to search the copy results for the LHR you want to edit.
  3. Haga clic en Ver/Editar en la columna Acción para el LHR que desea editar.
  4. Click Edit Item.
  5. Edite los campos y la información correspondientes.
  6. Click Save Item. A confirmation message will appear that states that the local holdings record has been saved.
  7. If the record was unable to be saved, an error message will appear. Correct any errors and repeat step 5.
  8. (Optional) Click View/Edit in MARC 21 to switch to the MARC 21 editor. If you have made any edits to the record in the Text View editor, you must save or cancel them before you click View/Edit in MARC 21.
