How to find my Default Connexion client local files

Symptom
  • I want to find my Connexion client Default local files
Applies to
  • Connexion client (all versions)

Resolution

There are times you may want to move a Connexion client local file to another location or send it to someone.  Where is it?

The Default path to Connexion client local files is: C:\Users\<YourWindowsUsername>\AppData\Roaming\OCLC\Connex\Db.

Windows hides the AppData folder by default so unless you unhide it, you won’t see it under YourWindowsUsername.

An easy way to reach the OCLC folder regardless of the AppData status is to:

1. Hold down the Windows key and press R.  This opens the Windows Run box.

2. Type %AppData% (including both percent signs), and click OK.

3. Click OCLC.

4. Click Connex.

5. Click Db.

You will see all your local Connexion client local files.
