Why do my ILLiad and WorldShare ILL dates look different?

Answer
WorldShare aims to display times in the local timezone, but ILLiad does not adjust time in the same way. What may be a few hours difference near midnight can be displayed as a different date when adjusted to local time. This misalignment can be confusing, but it is explained in detail below.
