We need to disable ILLiad Odyssey, how do we do this?

  • You need to disable Odyssey and you need to know how to do this on the ILLiad Web Server

Resolution

You need to follow these steps to disable Odyssey on your Server: 

  1. Update the UseOdyssey key to a value of 'No' in the ILLiad Customization Manager.
  2. Restart your ILLiad Odyssey Manager service.
  3. If you are hosted by OCLC, please contact OCLC Support.
  4. We will restart your ILLiad Odyssey Manager service and your changes will be active.
  5. If this is a temporary state, then when you are ready to start Odyssey again, you need to update the UseOdyssey Key value to 'Yes' in the Customization Manager.
  6. If you are hosted by OCLC, please contact OCLC Support.
  7. We will restart the ILLiad Odyssey Manager service and your changes will be active.
