I upgraded to 9.2.4, and I am getting an error message opening any request
Symptom
- The log has an error message: "Couldn't find a compatible Webview2 Runtime installation to host WebViews."
Applies to
- ILLiad 9.2.4 and above.
Resolution
You are receiving the error message because you do not have Microsoft Edge installed. To fix it, do the following:
- Uninstall 9.2.4.
- Download and install Microsoft Edge.
- Install 9.2.4. You might need to get the file from the ILLiad Downloads page, so contact OCLC Support for credentials.
- After the installation, you should be able to open requests now.
