ILLiad won't open and gets a Fatal Exception error in the logs

Symptom

  • ILLiad will not open to the login screen
  • ILLiad logs show a fatal exception and missing files

Resolution

When necessary files are missing, ILLiad will crash, so we use Repair function of the ILLiad Client installer to reload the missing files:

  1. Go to https://support.atlas-sys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012037614-ILLiad-Downloads and download the version of the Client currently running on your computer. Contact for the credentials.
  2. Right-click on the installer and select "Run as Administrator."
  3. Follow the steps until you are given the option to do a Complete Install or something else. We want to select Repair and then Next. 
  4. Complete the install and open the ILLiad Client to make sure it was successful. If the issue continues, please contact .
