How do I fix it when I am unable to print and the ILLiad Client log shows me an error 0x800A9C64

Symptom
  • You are getting an error message printing that the log shows the error code as 0x800A9C64

Resolution

Here are the steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. Make sure Reading View is turned off and you are in Edit View. 
  3. Save the Word Template as a .docx format.
  4. The customization key for that particular print job is also set to match: LendingArticleSlips.docx instead of LendingArticleSlips.doc.
  5. Press Ctrl+A to select all from the Non-working template.
  6. Press Ctrl+C to copy.
  7. Open a working template.
  8. Press Ctrl+A to select all.
  9. Press Ctrl+V to paste (the working template should now look exactly like the non-working template you're copying over).
  10. Close the non-working template.
  11. Go to File in the menu bar of the working template.
  12. Select Save As.
  13. Save as the same name as the non-working template to replace it.
