JournalSeek collections have been discontinued
Based on member feedback, OCLC has discontinued support for several collections supplied by JournalSeek (a 3rd-party aggregator) in the WorldCat knowledge base. Many JournalSeek collections are not being used, so your library may not be impacted by this change.
If you do use any of the collections, we recommend that you deselect them and configure higher quality alternatives located in the PDF:
We understand that this change may result in additional work so please know that OCLC Support representatives are happy to answer any questions and work with you to properly configure your impacted collections.
Direct data sources and data quality
16 May 2019 - Below is the list of providers that we are working directly with to offer better quality collection data. We are actively pursuing additional direct relationships. As collection replacements become available, we will announce them in our weekly just-in-time (JIT) and monthly WorldCat knowledge data updates.
Please note: In some cases, we will be offering several collections to replace one collection originally available through JournalSeek. This is due to the provider supplying us with better quality data about their collections.
