Search WorldCat Settings

Find out how to access and use the Search WorldCat Settings window in Connexion client.

Purpose of the Search WorldCat Settings window

Navigate to Cataloging > Search WorldCat and then click Settings.
Select or change settings for search results and for access to specialized records, as described in the table below.
Click OK.

Search Results area

List labeled:
Display search results as

This setting determines how WorldCat search results display.

Click the arrow to see the drop-down list and select one of the following:

System Default List - The display depends on the number of records retrieved.

Brief List - Displays no matter how many records are retrieved.
Truncated List - Displays no matter how many records are retrieved.
Full Record - If multiple records are retrieved, displays the list briefly and then displays the first full record.

Note:

If the search results in 101 to 1500 records, the group list always displays (your setting is ignored).
Otherwise, the client uses your selection no matter how many records are retrieved.

Access for Specialized Records area

Check box labeled:
Retrieve only SCIPIO records

Select the check box to limit WorldCat searches to SCIPIO records (Sales Catalog Index Project Input Online) only.

Cancelar	Cancel any changes you made to settings and close the window.
