Why is the material format for print book listed as "book_digital" in my Circulation Item Inventories report?

Symptom
  • Print LHRs with the incorrect material format of "book_digital" are showing in your weekly inventory report.

Resolution

To correct this issue, the items will need to be reindexed in the system. To force a reindex:

  1. Navigate to  the LHR MARC view in WorldShare Record Manager
  2. Click on the Save button at the top of the screen
  3. Check your next Circulation Item Inventories report to confirm that the correct material format is now displaying

If the wrong material format continues to show on these records after trying this, please contact OCLC Support with the OCLC numbers and barcodes for all affected items.
