Why is my SIP2 machine not reading non-Latin characters?
Symptom
- When scanning items into a SIP2 machine the title shows as question marks

Resolution
- Log into Service Configuration and navigate to WMS Circulation> Integrations > SIP2 IP Addresses.
- Select the relevant IP address for your SIP2 machine.
- Check the settings.
- If Character Encoding is set to Default (IBM850) change it to UTF-8 and click save.
If Character Encoding is already set to UTF-8 contact OCLC Support
