Have you thought about offering curbside pick up of library materials? You already have the amazing staff willing to provide this new service, but how can libraries easily organize and schedule pickups? This feature would allow patrons to pre-schedule curbside pick up for library materials. The staff console backend allows for limiting the amount of patrons for each time slot, alerts to when the patron arrives, and more. Patrons can also easily edit information such as their car details, license plate number and more.

  • ILS Integration - Easily connects with SIP2 or API products provided by your ILS vendor.
     
  • SMS and Email Notifications - Patrons can opt-in to receive automatic SMS notifications on their phones when confirming a reservation, and reminders before their chosen pick up time slot. All reservations include email notifications and reminders by default.
     
  • Integration with CapiraMobile - Libraries offering CapiraMobile to their patrons will have the  ability for curbside pickup functionality seamlessly through their app. CapiraMobile will handle notifying patrons when items are ready for pickup and help them begin the process of selecting a pickup.
     
  • “Ready”  Holds  Filtering - Patrons will only be able to reserve a pickup slot when their holds are in  a ready status. If ready holds are available at multiple locations, patrons can choose which batch they are planning to pick up.
     
  • Pickup & Delivery Options - Libraries can provide different delivery options at for each physical pickup location, allowing patrons to choose whether items should be picked up from a specific area such as a parking lot, individual marked stalls, or garages, and delivered to a specific area of their vehicle such as the trunk or back seat.
     
  • Easy Time Slot Configuration - Staff can specify the availability slots for any periods of time that work best throughout operating hours, and specify the maximum number of reservations allowed for each time period.
     
  • Patron Vehicle Management - Patrons can quickly add/edit/delete vehicles in the system for current and future reservations, easily allowing library staff to know what vehicle is expected to retrieve items.
     
  • Usage Analytics - Libraries can run analytics reporting on the number of reservations created and completed, most popular time slots selected by patrons, and much more.
